About Sproots
Sproots is a cocopeat exporter based in Pune, Maharashtra, India, founded by the Jadhav family. The name is a portmanteau of “sprouts” and “roots” — the two halves of every plant’s life that our substrates exist to support. Operating as Sproots Substrates Pvt. Ltd., we supply premium quality low EC cocopeat blocks, coir pith briquettes, and coconut peat growing media to greenhouses, nurseries, and hydroponic farms worldwide. Production will be based in the coconut-rich Konkan coastal region of Maharashtra.
Our Products
We offer 5 kg low EC cocopeat blocks and 1 kg compressed coir pith blocks, ideal for horticulture, floriculture, and hydroponic growing systems. Our cocopeat is double-washed to achieve an electrical conductivity below 0.5 mS/cm, with pH balanced between 5.5 and 6.8, and moisture content under 15 percent. Each block offers a 5:1 compression ratio with expansion of 14 to 15 litres per kilogram.
Export Information
We export cocopeat in full container loads using 40-foot high cube containers from major Indian ports. All shipments are phytosanitary certified. We serve buyers across Europe, Middle East, North America, Southeast Asia, and Africa. Custom packing and private labelling available on request.
Why Choose Our Cocopeat
Our coir pith is sourced from India’s finest coconut-growing regions. It contains no chemicals or additives, making it a 100 percent natural and organic growing substrate. Cocopeat is an eco-friendly alternative to peat moss, offering excellent water retention, aeration, and root development for plants.
